In this pre-twinkle introduction to the Suzuki Method, parents and children ages approximately 3 to 5 will learn the basics of the Suzuki Method for violin with singing and fun violin related activities. The intention of the class is to prepare parents and prospective students for private and group instruction. We will explore how to stand and hold the violin with a Cherub Box Violin & Bow (approx. $10 value included in the price of the class) that we will decorate learn to play a song. Then take it home to practice and play together with parents.

Little Art Explorers is a hands-on visual art series for kids ages 4-7. Your little ones will explore engaging materials and techniques (paints, mixed-media, clay projects, and more!) while building fine-motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and confidence expressing themselves. The host will help parents and toddlers resolve minor squabbles but this playgroup is mostly about natural open-ended social play with minimal instructor input.

Your little ones will explore engaging materials and techniques (paints, mixed-media, clay projects, and more!) while building fine-motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and confidence expressing themselves. This is optionally a drop-off class, giving kids the space to create (and explain!) on their own terms. Special thanks to Staten-Island based teaching artists from T+C Art Lab for this collaboration.
