Adventures with Instruments

Class details

Young children can explore the orchestra instrument families (strings, woodwinds, brass, keyboard & percussion) with a live demonstration each week from various Cortelyou Music & Play faculty members and guests. Kids will enjoy a variety of styles of music in digestible bite sized portions and get to play with musical toys. They will also touch and in some cases play the real instruments.

This class is mainly geared toward children that will soon be able to start private lessons (3-6) however it is open to older children and younger toddlers as well.
