Toddler Social Play

Open-ended play that bridges parallel and cooperative play

Toddlers at social play

Our Toddler Social Playgroups are designed to develop essential social skills, bridging the gap between parallel play (playing alongside others) and cooperative play (playing with others).

Multiple activities available in the space require mastering the concept of taking turns; including slides, balance beams, climbing toys, giant building blocks, and our magnet wall. The host may help parents and toddlers resolve minor squabbles but this playgroup is mostly about natural open-ended social play with minimal instructor input.

Please note: These are caregiver-facilitated play sessions. Caregivers are expected to actively pay attention to their children during play.
